Synopsis

When Alice's brother receives a long-awaited heart transplant, she is sent to stay with her estranged grandmother, Nell. At first, Alice finds little to enjoy, except for the enchanting Darkling Wood nearby. However, Nell plans to cut it down. In the woods, Alice befriends Flo, a mysterious girl no one else seems to know. As Flo reveals the wood's secrets, Alice questions reality and races to save Darkling Wood before it's too late.
